Benedar is the master-at-arms of Strongsong Castle and brother of late lord Denys Belmore.

He was born in 342 AC, Benjen is a tall, strong man, he has blue eyes and his hair is black which he wears to his shoulders; He also wears a goatee.
He is Strongsongs finnest knight; and one of the finnests in The Vale, he values honor and the rules of war. Benedar is a strong and highly charismatic leader, capable of commanding attention and radiating determination and conviction to those serving under him. Though most often appearing emotionless he is deeply passionate about his friends and countrymen.
