Gerold Santagar is the Lord of Spottswood and head of House Santagar. He is married to Alysanne Martell, the cousin of Prince Alleras.
Appearance[]
Average height, black hair and brown eyes. He has a complexion of the typical Sandy Dornishman and a well trained body. Aside from all this, he has a stern face.
History[]
Gerold Santagar was born to Maron Santagar and Valena Dalt in 348AC. Born the second son, he was not given as much attention as his elder brother, Olyvar, unfortunately Olyvar died of Pneumonia, having lived for two years. This unfortunate event made Gerold the heir to Spottswood, not that the one year old Gerold noticed much of it. As Gerold grew older he turned out to be Martially Adapt or gifted with arms. Being the only child of the Santagar family, Gerold focused more on his duties and his training, always listening to his father and doing his duty first.
Eventually in 365 AC Gerold had the chance to put his training to the test as his Father took him with when a sellsword fleet of The Seven Banners sailed up the Greenblood. After his father got injured by a stray arrow during one of the attacks, Gerold took command and eventually repelled the Sellswords, showing his skills with the spear and sending the sellswords down the Greenblood again.
When Maron Santagar died of an infected wound two moons after the battle, Gerold Santagar returned to Spottswood and took up his role as the new Lord of Spottswood. He married Alysanne Martell, cousin to the current Prince of Dorne, in 366 AC, a match made by his mother. together they have two children, Maron and Dyanna.
