History

Quentyn Dayne was borne in 355 AC, to his father, Ser Symon Dayne and his wife, Lady Arianne. At a young age he was showing the gift of martial adeptness especially with the swordwhich he would train with every day at High Hermitage with his cousins. His skills with the blade were becoming legendary in the town around High Hermitage. As he grew, he also learnedFalconry, going on hunts in the rivers around the castle. Because of his strong sudden strange connection with the animals of the wild, he is known to be an Animal Tamer, so far he has a pet falcon, Darkstar. (He is of the night.) When he turned 16, he was knighted after killing three men while defending his father. In celebration one of his cousins took him to a brothel, where he had ended up with a bastard girl, who he named after his sweet cousin Ysilla. The older he got, the more skilled he became, but skill brought solitude. With his companion falcon Darkstar, the Knight of High Hermitage has been left as the castellan of High Hermitage While his cousins, father and the Daynes of Starfall travel to Oldtown. A red priest has arrived, and fills Quentyns ears with the promise of a new Dawn for him.

367: He tames a falcon that he names Darkstar, in honor of Ser Gerold Dayne

371: He is knighted at 16 after killing three men in defense of his father.

371: He fathers a bastard

380: He is left as castellan of High Hermitage

380: A red priest arrives, and Quentyns ears are open.
