The Informant's Circle or simply The Circle is the name of an underground web of people who devoke themselves to spying for the best bidder, they are supposedly lead by The Benefactor a character no one has ever seen (some believe is a way to name anyone who pays the organization) and all instructions or information are given through The Informant (whose real identity is unknown as well).
The Circle's activies vary from owning casinos, brothels, inns, trafficking information, murdering specific targets among others.

The name originated from the necesity of Westerosi lords of a reliable source of information, it is said a dornish lord is able to know what is happening at the wall once with the help of The Circle; but due to the profit in it they decided to expand they're operations to other business.
Secrecy is the name of the game, no member knows the identities of the other members of the group; nor the identity of The informant, they never meet in person and the few times they do the spies are visited by someone known The Voice
