Princess Visenya Targaryen was one of the daughters of Aegon VI Targaryen and his queen, Sansa Stark, twin to Rhaenys Targaryen. She was the spouse of Crown Prince Rhaegar Targaryen.
History[]
The third child and youngest daughter of her parents, Visenya was betrothed and wed, in 317 AC, to her older brother, Rhaegar. The marriage produced three daughters and ended in tragedy when Rhaegar died in captivity during the War of the Lords Scorned, in 333 AC. Visenya herself died shortly after, in the year 335 AC, some say from grief, just as her brother, Aemon Targaryen succeeded their father as King .
Of her three daughters, Aella was married to Lord Davos Baratheon and Daenys to her uncle, Visenya's youngest brother, Prince Baelon Targaryen.
