Biography[]
Walton Bolton was eldest born to Wendel Bolton in 341 AC at the Dreadfort. At a young age he learned how to ride a horse with grace and excellence. He enjoyed poetry and riding in the lands around the Dreadfort. When he was 23 his love of poetry lost and his graceful riding turned to a war horse. In 364 the War of the Seven Banners broke out while Walton and his father were in Kings Landing. Marching along with his father and the armies of the King Viserys, he learned to become a competent swordsman. There he fought in the First Battle of Redstone and the Slaughter of the Rocks. During the Slaughter of the Rocks, he gained much needed survival skills. At the age of 22 before the War of Seven Banners he married Jeyne Mormont. He bore one son and one daughter, his heir Roose, and his daughter Alys. When he returned he found his heir a deaf boy. As he grew older he gained the gift of Leadership. He inherited the Dreadfort at 32 in 373 AC.
Walton Bolton has dark black hair and a pale face with grey eyes. He is shorter than most men at 5'6
In 380 AC, he spoke out in support of Lord Rodrik Stark over Rickard Stark in the Great Northern Council. He returned to the Dreadfort to write his book A History of the War of the Seven Banners. In 381 he arrived in White Harbor for his sons wedding to Elissa Forrester.
